Trevor Loughrey was born in Ramelton, County Donegal, into a family of 3 sisters and 2 brothers. His father John, 80, still lives in the small town. His mother Kathleen sadly passed away at the age of 41 due to cancer. In the late 1980s Trevor met a Derry woman, Collette, and from there they had 2 children, Kieran and Shannon. Trevor welcomed his first grandson James in 2016 followed by his first granddaughter Éabha in 2018. Trevor has always been a fan of every genre but country music was a special favorite. He always admired the likes of American Artists such as Gareth Brooks, George Strait and Alan Jackson but never forgetting the Irish Stars such as Philomena Begley and Daniel O’Donnell. This led to Trevor perusing a career of his own in country music almost 10 years ago resulting in multiple awards and his soon to be 10th album. Between traveling for gigs and performing all over the UK and parts of Europe, Trevor presents his own TV show every Thursday on Keep It Country TV Channel 376 where he shows the best of American and Irish Artists
